U11 is the first year our teams move to the local travel recreational league known as Jack London (JLYSL) who play under the Cal North League. Players range in age from 10 to 18 years old, and this program works with a large variety of player abilities. The goal, as always, is to continue the player's development and love of the game.

Year-round programs (separate registration by season)

Fall: Sep-Oct (JLYSL) | Winter: Jan-Feb (ABSC Indoor) | Spring: Mar-May (JLYSL) | Summer: Jun-Aug (ABSC)

Program Format - Fall & Spring

 • Playing Format: 9v9 (ages 10-11) | 11v11 (ages 12+)
 • Depending on the playing format, roster size will range from 12-19 players per team
 • 4 Home games on local Albany-Berkeley fields
 • 4 Away games, local travel within a 10-mile radius, typically Alameda, Richmond, El Cerrito ect. 
 • All players guaranteed 50% play-time
 • Professional, licensed coach OR Volunteer parent coach

IMPORTANT: Teams opting for an ABSC professional Coach must still have a volunteer parent Team Manager for a successful season.

Dates

 • Spring Program runs mid March to 1st weekend of June
  • Spring End of Season Tournament hosted by ABSC League 
 • Fall Program late August to 1st weekend of November
  • Fall End of Season Tournament hosted by JLYSL 

Location & Times

 • Practice Time: 4-5:30pm or 5:30-7pm
     • Players can make requests at registration.
 • Location for Home games and Practice: Fielding, Berkeley | Gabe West, Berkeley | King, Berkeley | San Pablo, Berkeley
 • Location for Away games: Alameda, Oakland, Richmond 
 • Saturday or Sunday games 

Uniforms

 • Puma Blue and White uniforms - no longer reversible uniforms
     • IMPORTANT: Order uniform through soccer.com HERE -- NOT purchased at registration
 • Players are required to have non-duplicate numbers on the same team
 • Traditional soccer apparel to be worn (shin guards, soccer cleats, soccer socks)
